Venezuela Food Drive Currently the largest single project funded through the gover- nance portal, the food drive was created with the goal of educating people about crypto-assets in the Venezuelan city of Puerto Ordaz. Throughout the week, a marketing campaign was carried out through the local media to get people interested and every Sunday about 500 meals were distributed to attendees. At the same time seminars were held to tell people more about what crypto is and the advan- tages of SmartCash. With Venezuela’s unhinged inflation, many people are becoming increasingly aware of the potential of crypto. People are unable to create any savings due to the value of their bank accounts evapo- rating as fast as, and often faster, then they can earn money. Venezuela Crypto-Fiat Exchange These seminars aim to show these people how to convert their boli- var holdings into SmartCash through the MonkeyCoin exchange, which happens to be the only legally compliant crypto-fiat exchange in Venezuela. SMART also happens to be one of just four cryptos available for trading on this exchange thanks to a partnership formed before its launch. The others are all major players that are among the top five of all crypto-assets by market cap.
