South America Mexico Talent Land Sponsorship A few notable community members in Mexico were given the nec- essary amount of SmartCash to sponsor a booth at the Talent Land tech show. Around 30,000 people were in attendance for this confer- ence, ranging from students to business executives to government representatives. This event provided a key opportunity to introduce people to this crypto, and to educate them about everything cryp- to-related – from simple topics like the benefits of crypto to more complex ones such as potential uses of SmartCard in commerce. Mexico SmartStudent Ecosystems Stage 1 Coming from a different community member than the other Mexico proposal, the aim is to begin the process of establishing a small, fully contained SmartCash ecosystem in two Mexican universities. The ecosystem will consist of a weekly scholarship for student athletes that will be used to cover food expenses in partnered restaurants/ establishments. These partners will accept direct crypto payments; thus, the scholarships will never be converted in fiat but rather will be given out directly in SMART. The first stage consists of 8 meetups that will be used to identify candidates for partnerships, as well as better understand the students’ and their respective universities’ needs.
