Venezuela Other Efforts Other education and networking projects are also being continu- ously carried out in Venezuela to reach not only individuals, but also businesses. They are working to introduce SmartCash to entre- preneurs all across Venezuela. Various community members are also in discussion with David Hay, who is attempting to undertake an ambitious campaign that aims to fully transition Venezuela as a whole from the bolivar to crypto. Venezuela is of particular interest not just to SmartCash, but to cryptos as a whole as it is a perfect example of what happens when traditional banking and government systems fail to function properly. By installing an alternative system that doesn’t require centralized elements, it could be a perfect demonstration of the power of this new technology. All these efforts are just scratching the surface of the community’s potential. These proposals showcase how having a governance system and a way to self-fund expansion efforts are just as cru- cial to adoption as having revolutionary technology, if not more so. The community treasury gives everyone the opportunity to access resources that would otherwise be wholly out of reach. If their proposals are approved, these people can then use com- munity resources to create a direct positive impact on the lives of others, and at the same time educate many others of the ben- efits of SmartCash and its tech.
