Africa Ghana SmartCash Student Introduction This proposal was designed to introduce SmartCash to the people of Ghana through radio discussions and meetups across five Ghanian universities. A great number of students in this country are involved in small import businesses, bringing electronics and accessories into the country. Due to difficulty in using their native currency online, many have chosen to use bitcoin to do their shopping. Due to long confirmation times and high and inconsistent fees, however, many of these students are looking for better alternatives. SmartCash is being pitched as such an alternative; the meetups are expected to bring in around 100 students per campus, while the radio discussions are expected to have an audience of around 40,000 people nationwide. The many perks and conveniences of SmartCash will serve to encourage many of these individuals and part-time entrepreneurs to try it out and see its benefits for themselves. Nigeria Ambassadors for SmartCash This simpler proposal looks to identify and educate a number of indi- viduals to become the community ambassadors for Nigeria and start spreading word across its various states. Being a part of a bigger effort in this country, it will serve as a starting point for establishing a strong foothold for the community. Upon successful completion, a second phase is planned to begin which will involve exposing SmartCash to the public at large with the help of these ambassadors.
