Examples of Real-World Impact Most well-known cryptos with significant market caps have good fundamentals in terms of technology development and partner- ships. But they still struggle to gain widespread adoption as users looking to get involved must have both disposable income and a fairly thorough understanding of the space. In order to gain true world-wide adoption though, barriers to entry need to be reduced and/or eliminated as much as possible such that ordinary people are also able to participate without requiring significant knowledge and/or resources. The people part of SmartCash know there is an opportunity in elim- inating these barriers. They also understand that the tech should act as a platform on which the community could exist and grow nat- urally. Adoption does not increase drastically due to ease-of-use, privacy, or instant transactions on their own. Rather, a self-funded and self-governed community that can work autonomously and is driven to increase exposure becomes the real driving force of grow- ing adoption. The technology is only useful insofar as to provide a vehicle to be used by the community for its expansion.
