Rewards for Community Support and Service SmartRewards provides every wallet address holding at least 1,000 SmartCash with a payout on the 25th of each month if nothing is “spent” within a full monthly cycle. Although similar, it’s important to note that this isn’t interest because neither a bank or business must allocate resources to “pay” anyone and it’s not a dividend because SmartCash is not an invest- ment security. Instead it’s a way of rewarding those who show their high level of support by demonstrating that they value the worth of SmartCash long-term. SmartNodes , on the other hand, provide a decentralized network of always-on servers that will allow for locking transactions with InstantPay and other future services. Those who hold at least 10,000 SmartCash and connect a properly configured VPS server to the network can earn addi- tional SmartCash through their SmartNode. It’s just another way community members can support SmartCash and be rewarded for their service.
